About me
Andy Qiu (裘烨春) is a Shanghai-based applied improvisation facilitator and trainer, trained in the Patricia Ryan Madson / Stanford lineage and CSA-certified.
As a partner at NOW Theater heading its enterprise services, he designs leadership, team-integration, and change-management programs for Fortune 500 clients such as Shiseido, and serves as an improv coach for leading Chinese MBA programs (CKGSB, SJTU, Fudan) and executive academies.
A TEDx speaker, Andy runs the WeChat channel Wisdom of Improvisation and the interview series Wisdom of Improv: Conversations, through which he introduces the world's foremost applied-improv thinkers — among them Patricia Ryan Madson, Dan O'Connor, and Kat Koppett — to a growing Chinese audience.
He is currently developing a bilingual white paper on the state of applied improvisation in China and translating key works in the field for Chinese readers.
Andy's mission is to let practitioners in China stand on the shoulders of the global improv community — and to carry what's distinctly Chinese back into the worldwide conversation.
