About me
I am a teacher and director specializing in hybridized physical theater. Circus arts are one tool I use in collaboration with other disciplines to tell stories infused with themes of access and inclusion. I am a certified Master Instructor of the DanceAbility Method, a modality for teaching dance to all bodies. I have 40+ years experience as a performer of theater, dance and circus arts. I was an ensemble member of Do Jump physical theater (Portland OR) for 13 years. I have knowledge and lived experience with Disability access and inclusion. I have 20+ years experience working with youth to create ensemble shows of their own design and devising, as well as directing professional live physical theater performances. I have been a lead rigger as well as a designer of original aerial apparatus at Echo Theater Company in Portland. OR.
