About me
Aaron Wheeler-Kay is Creative Director at Echo Theater Company in Portland OR. Aaron teaches and directs original performance work hybridizing circus arts, physical ensemble theater and inclusive/adaptive practices. Aaron is a Certified Master Teacher in DanceAbility, a modality using improvisation to create movement classes that are accessible to all ways of being. Aaron has worked as a professional performer for 40+ years and has included improvisation as a teaching tool for the last 30 in disciplines including tap dance, aerial arts, inclusive dance, creative writing, vocal presentation and ensemble performance creation.
