About me
Ruth Jenkins, BFA, Theatre, University of Colorado, Boulder (1985), CCC - MS, SLP Portland State University (1995), is the former co-owner and President of CSz Portland, where she still teaches and performs after 38 years. Ruth was also a Speech Language Pathologist working primarily with adults with neurological disorders for 30 years and has also served as guest clinician and later as Adjunct Professor teaching students in the Aphasia Clinic at Portland State, including the use of improv to address aphasic language improvement and modifications. Ruth is fluent in gibberish and has performed in over a dozen scripted shows in the last few years, including as cult leader, Aurora, in Our Utopia at Bag & Baggage.
