GII Symposium 2026 has ended

This session explores the role and use of improv for role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and others. It covers key topics including: Character Development (Player Characters, NPCs), Storytelling, World Building and Game Play& Design.
The session also discusses how Game Masters (GMs) can use improv to collaborate with players, to provide opportunities for custom gaming experience, and to balance planned scenarios with sandbox settings.
