About me
Andra Whipple is a TV and film writer with a background in improvisation. She co-founded the Coup de Comedy festival at UC Irvine. She’s written on Adam Ruins Everything, the WGA Awards, and is a fellow for the 2026 Yes and Laughter Lab. She has performed at Second City, iOWest, The Glendale Room, and more. She has improvised on teams including Uncle Nepheneezer, Strangers, Improv Revolution, and more. She has taught improv to people and children of all ages, and regularly uses the principles of improvisation in her writing.
